started in 2017 basing on the simple truth we all know,
- 621 million young people aged 15-24 years old are not in education, employment or training.
- 75 million young people are trained but have no job.
- Youth are approximately three times more likely to be unemployed than adults.
- We Lose Around 10 Million Hectares of Forest Every Single Year.
Every country is facing such problems but solutions vary from region to region depending on social, economic, political, and geographical issues. In short, there is no simple, one-stop solution to the above challenges.
Where we come from, Uganda, the main reason for deforestation is cooking fuel. Institutions like schools, hospitals, prisons, and households rely heavily on forests as a source of cooking fuel in the form of firewood and charcoal.
Our vow to this world is to tackle the challenges as effectively as we can.
We are a social enterprise with the objective of assisting communities, civil societies, corporations, and government agencies in the development of sustainable green projects. As a result, communities and agencies are able to address the issues of the 21st century created by the growing population and the consequent need for food, clean water, and sustainable energy.
We turn waste into cooking fuel!
We produce over 30 tons of briquettes per month which are a clean and affordable substitute for charcoal. We built large-scale institutional eco stoves and transitioned 8 schools and 2 companies to use our eco briquettes.
They now benefit from efficient, neat, affordable and healthier cooking since briquettes don’t produce smoke.
